XPP-5422 Intrinsically Safe Permissible Dual-Light™ Flashlight
This 3 AA Dual-Light™ Flashlight is cETLus, ATEX, IECEx, INMETRO and MSHA listed Intrinsically Safe Permissible.It uses a CREE® LED rated at 120 lumens that works in conjunction with a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector to create a usable flashlight beam rated at 170 meters. A 120 lumens unfocused floodlight is integrated into the housing which is perfect for close-up illumination.
Additionally, both the flashlight and the floodlight can be turned on at the same time for maximum versatility. The dual body switches provide momentary or constant-on functionality for the flashlight and on/off functionality for the floodlight. Power comes from 3 AA batteries (not included).

Light and Bright

This is a light weight LED flashlight. The flood light is a nice feature that shines out of the side of the flashlight. It allows you to rest the flashlight on its end and use it as a work light. The actual light is extremely bright with a great pin-point area of light. The only down side is that there is a safety screw on the light end of the flashlight that requires an allen key. No key is provided and the screw is extremely small. I just got it, so I cannot speak to the durability, so far.
One Year Later

After a year of use, all of the labeling listing it intrinsically safe is gone, the safety screw that holds the light cover from backing out is gone, and the off and on switch is sticking. Trying to change the battery in the field is impossible unless you take the safety screw out or carry a little allen wrench with you all of the time. Overall, the battery life is good and the price you can't beat. Also, the flood light has been nice feature and has come in handy.

I have had this flashlight for three years and love it. It has yet to fail me. I have used it on almost every fire scene and plenty of EMS scenes. After three years it is still on the original batteries. The only reason it gets four star is because the area around the screw cracked after two years but the cap still seals.
