IRON SIGHTS

Iron sights, named so because they are usually made of metal, are the simplest style of sighting devices found on firearms. They usually consist of two notches or rings that flip up from the flat top top rail of a gun or are affixed to the barrel. The weapon is then aimed by aligning both sights with each other and then the target in the shooters line of sight. Sometimes these components are adjustable so that the operator can compensate for wind or other environmental and situational needs. Interstate Arms is your leading wholesale distributor of custom firearms and accessories, including a wide array of iron sights.
